Nick is in his first year as a Board member of Northern Kentucky Baseball (NKB), and was an assistant coach this past season for his son's 5u team. As NKB's Vice President of Marketing, he wants to create and implement a sponsorship program with a goal of generating $85,000 in sponsorships.

Nick grew up in Cincinnati, where he played baseball at Oak Hills High School and in the J.B. Yeager. After graduating from Oak Hills, he attended Thomas More College, where he played in the outfield for the Saints baseball team, and received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Associates of Arts in Pre-legal Studies. After College, he worked as a probation office in Hamilton County (Ohio), and while attending Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, worked as a law clerk for Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Steven Martin. He received his law degree in 2010 and began working at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. His practice focuses on the litigation aspects of construction, real estate, product liability, and personal injury matters. In 2016, Nick participated in the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL) as a member of Class XX where he focused on practical, professional, and ethical issues facing local attorneys.

Nick and his wife, Allison have three children: Audrey (7); Austin (5); and Max (2). They are members of St. Paul Parish, and thanks to his wife's influence, he religiously follows University of Kentucky athletics.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION – VICE PRESIDENT – MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIPS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ​​Coordinate developement of sponsors within the community.
  • Create marketing materials for potential sponsors detailing NKB's program and needs.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records regarding sponsorship commitments.
  • Prepare a quarterly marketing report to be given at meetings of the NKB Board.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors.

Address questions, requests, and comments regarding marketing and sponsorships.

Outreach to continue increasing sponsorships from within the community.

Update any new incoming sponsorship information.

Work with the Treasurer in regards to incoming monitary donations.

Work with Operations Manager to create new ideas for fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
