2018 NKB All Stars Program

The Northern Kentucky Baseball (NKB) Board of Directors would like to convey its sincere appreciation to all those players who expressed an interest in being considered for the 2018 NKB All Stars Program.  Again this year, we had a high level of player interest for the teams.  Additionally, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we have gone through the player selection process.

For the 2018 NKB All Star season, we will have two teams from the 8U age group and one team each from the 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U age groups. NOTE:  Originally, the intent was to have an all star team from the 13U age group; however, no 2018 NKB 13U team will be formed due to the limited number of players who registered for the tryout and the lack of coaching volunteers for that age group.

As described in the NKB All Stars Program information on the NKB website, the NKB All Stars Program is intended to provide players who have both the desire to continue playing baseball following the conclusion of the regular season and the ability to compete at a highly competitive level an opportunity to do so.  The league believes that this is a rewarding and exciting aspect that most of the youth baseball leagues in our area do not offer.

The rosters for each of the 2018 NKB All Star teams have been posted below.  For those players who were selected to one of the 2018 NKB All Star teams, congratulations on this recognition.  We know that you will represent the league well with both your play and sportsmanship.  In the near term, you will be contacted by your coach who will provide you with more details regarding the upcoming 2018 NKB All Star season.

For those players who were not selected this season, we appreciate your interest.  While we know that there is disappointment with not being selected, we hope that this does not diminish your desire to play and to continue to improve.  Please keep the NKB All Stars Program in mind for next season.

Again, thanks to all who expressed an interest in being considered for one of the 2018 NKB All Star teams, congratulations to all those players who were selected and thanks to all of the coaches and other volunteers who help make the NKB All Stars Program as successful as possible.
